What is Geriatrics?
When most of us hear the term geriatrics, we often think of getting older. In reality, geriatrics is much less concerned with age, and more about how we as physicians take care of our patients. We turn back the clock to a time when your family knew your doctor, and vice versa. We learn what fills our patients’ cup, and who is important to them in life. We value extended visits and bringing our care to the home. We understand there are countless medical therapies at our disposal, but we should only utilize the ones that are going to help our patients live better. Geriatrics is an older version of medicine, born anew.

An important aspect of our practice is returning to the original principles of medicine. To that end, we are happy to offer house calls as an essential part of our practice. Let us bring our medical expertise to the comfort of your home.

It can be critical to have a general practitioner at the heart of your care, and we are comfortable managing multiple different medical conditions in concert. When needed, we utilize an extensive network of prominent specialists and look forward to making new connections with your providers. We also maintain a strong affiliation with NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medicine Hospital.
